For example:DolphinGClocation=E:EmulatorsSoftwareDolphinDolphin.execommand=%l -batch -exec=%rlikewise, for PCSX2 which also has a problem. Registax For Mac However before you can follow this you need to disable system integrity protection ( read about it here and here ) which sounds way scarier than it is. The command to add to the emu config file is 'command=%l -batch -exec=%r' minus the quotes. Any emulator that runs in desktop mode will cause steam to use your controller as a mouse (and circle is mapped as ESC key as standard) this is what causes all the problems, once you understand that when streaming acrpss the link, your emulator has to be rendered to the front, then you wont have a problem.FYI if youre using ICE for steam to control your emulator library. For example: Start 'button(9) mouse(0)' will bind the N64 controller Start button to button 9 on the joystick and button 0 on the mouse. You can also bind mouse buttons to the N64 controller buttons by adding a clause to the button binding string. If you save all these profiles and then unplug your controllers (and dont touch those settings again) then you should be fine but it will take a few goes maybe. The default value for MouseSensitivity is '2.00,2.00'.
Then copy the settings and apply to controller 2, using xinput1.
I couldnt find a thread that specifically talked about PS4 controllers on Mac-Dolphin playing G-cube game so I thought Id try posting this. The next stage is, unlike PCSX2 and other emulators, it wont detect the controller manually (especiually if you require multi player setup like on mario kart)For this you need to have all controllers connected to your pc by method of choice (I use DS4Windows) so your controllers can be detected by your pc as (correct me if im wrong but im saying this from memory) Controller one will be on xinput0 and controller 2 will be on xinput1 and so forth.make a base profile in dolphin controller settings using xinput0 (controller 1) and then save it as 'controller 1 settings' or something memorable. Also just wanted to mention that other emulators are picking up my PS4 controller, and when I use an app on for Mac called joystick show it also picks up my DS4.
Not sure what to do to solve the Dolphin problem:(. I realize this is about as niche as it gets, but Im having trouble finding any information on how I can configure Dolphin to work through Steam on a Mac so I can use my Steam Controllers.
